Today, the Medical Nutrition International Industry (MNI) announced that Fonterra has become a new member company of the organisation. Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited is a New Zealand multinational dairy co-operative owned by around 10,000 New Zealand farmers. The company is responsible for approximately 30% of the world's dairy exports.

Manuela Schaflechner, MNI President, welcomed Fonterra and stressed that “Fonterra’s decision to join the MNI strengthens our efforts to achieve better care through better nutrition.
