Speakers' biographies


Frank H. De Man 
Frank is Secretary General of the European Nutrition for Health Alliance, London, UK (2006- ) and Finance Director of EATRIS, European Infrastructure for Translational Medicine, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2011- ). 

He has a master in law, Law School, University of Amsterdam and holds a Ph.D. in health care management, Medical Faculty of Groningen University, The Netherlands. From 1983 – 1994 he worked at the NL Ministry of Health as Deputy Head of International Affairs, permanent representative for health at the European Union in Brussels and Attaché for Health at the NL Embassy, Washington DC, USA. Since 1994 he worked as a management consultant.

He was visiting-lecturer in health care management at the Medical Faculty, Leiden University Medical Center, Wharton Business School, Philidelphia and George Washington University, Washington, DC.


Sanja Matic
Country Manager region Adriatic & Greece, Abbott Nutrition. 

B.S. in Pharmacy, Graduated University of Pharmacy, Zagreb, Croatia in 1990. Pharmacy as Pharmaceutical Engineer in 1990.

Joined Knoll in 1993 as Sales in Croatia.  Promoted to Group Product Manager in 1995. Following Abbott’s acquisition of Knoll was working in International Marketing, USA headquarters in 2002 and Russia in 2003 on Strategy development for Cardiovascular products.

Graduated the Presidents MBA program with honors at IEDC, International Bled School of Management, Slovenia in June 2005. 

Promoted to Business Unit Manager in 2005 and to Country Manager in 2006 making the start-up and development of Abbott Nutrition in Adriatic region. Became responsible for Abbott Nutrition Greece in 2015.

Postgraduate course of Management in Health care at Medical University, Zagreb in 2014.


Özden Bingöl
Government Affairs & Market Access Director, Nutricia, Turkey. 

Özden Bingöl currently serves as the Director of Government Affairs and Market Access for Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition in Turkey. She is responsible for monitoring pricing, regulation, reimbursement, public and governmental affairs. Prior to her experience at Nutricia.

Ms. Bingöl served as the Market Access, Government and Public Affairs Director for Bristol-Myers Squibb for five years. There she managed Alliance access strategy with organizations such as Pfizer and AstraZeneca , and focused on several key disease areas such as: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes, and Cancer. 

Before BMS, she worked for Eli Lilly Company, Glaxo Smith Kline and Merck Sharp & Dohme for 15 years.

 

Ceri Green
Global Medical Affairs Director, Global Medical Department, Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition Division, Schiphol, The Netherlands

Ceri Green holds a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics and a PhD. She worked as a dietitian in the UK before joining Nutricia in 1992, where she has worked in various medical nutrition-related roles within R&D and the Global Medical team. 

Ceri has been an active member of MNI since its inception and was instrumental in creating the MNI dossier on oral nutritional supplements to tackle malnutrition. In addition to her role as member of several MNI working groups, she is currently chair of the ENHA/Optimal Nutritional Care for All working group, and is a trustee of the ENHA. 

In 2012 she was appointed as Associate Editor of the clinical nutrition section of the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
