National Industry Groups
MNI aims to build an environment which promotes the translation of clinical nutrition research into standard practice. One of the key objectives of MNI is to position Medical Nutrition as an integrated part of patient and disease management. It is therefore of crucial importance to work with the relevant authorities, scientific bodies, national associations and patient groups to help drive a framework which supports the health needs of patients.
It is also important that MNI is represented at the EU level, reaching out and engaging with policy makers and other stakeholders to promote the benefits of Medical Nutrition to Europe’s patients and society, health systems, economy and future growth. MNI is seeking to build political pressure on EU Member States from the top downwards, to generate movement towards policies and practices that embrace our vision and goals. Part of our strategy is therefore to create reference points in official EU documents that can help the national level advocate to create a favourable national policy environment. This in turn helps to consolidate support at EU level.
If you are a member of the Medical Nutrition industry or related national industry association/group and would like to receive more information on MNI activities and/or access the National Advocacy Toolkit, please submit your request here.
